Summary
Join SentinelOne's IT team as a Senior Staff IT Engineer and contribute to providing highly reliable and innovative services to the enterprise. You will perform technical planning, design, configurations, and automation for cloud and on-prem infrastructure, focusing on optimization for manageability, scalability, security, and reliability. This role requires expertise in cloud technologies and best practices for maintaining their security. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure architecture standards are adopted and followed. The position involves designing and driving authentication and authorization architectures, providing detailed documentation, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends. This role is based in the US Eastern time zone.
Requirements
- Proficient in scoping and designing automations that manage interactions between multiple SaaS applications and their APIs
- Hands-on experience managing on-premise and cloud infrastructure for an engineering lead organization
- Multi-cloud experience, with expertise in at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms
- Experience in designing IAM solutions in both on-prem and AWS / GCP cloud platforms. Including, but not limited to, Active Directory, Entra (Azure AD), and Okta
- Practical experience working with cloud automation and configuration management tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.; Python, Powershell, or Bash scripting experience is necessary
- Proven track record of driving efficiency through standards, automation, and management systems
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A self-starter that is passionate and motivated by new technologies, and has empathy for legacy systems
- A quick learner that can keep up with new features being released by the cloud providers
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation and orchestration across enterprise technologies
- Serve as a subject matter expert across core enterprise technologies such as Active Directory and Google Workspace
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine needs and develop comprehensive solutions that resolve inefficiencies in critical processes
- Collaborate with IT, InfoSec, Data Architecture, Cloud Engineering and DevOps teams to ensure architecture standards are adopted and followed
- Design and drive the Authentication and Authorization architectures for existing and new technologies
- Provide detailed documentation around design and implementation of core automations, data flow, and processes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and system design best practices
