Summary

Requirements

  • You have a deep understanding of statistical methods and classical machine learning techniques
  • You’ve successfully delivered a customer-facing, large-scale analysis experience
  • You care about performance and have experience in measuring and optimizing algorithms and code
  • You enjoy working in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the continuous profiler insights and recommendations
  • Analyze and evaluate the performance of insights and recommendations
  • Develop new insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with various Datadog AI Teams, such as AI Code Generation and Data Science
  • Collaborate with profiling teams to design and implement innovative product features
  • Advise on algorithms and techniques that balance the trade-offs between statistical accuracy and real-world computational constraints

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing statistical heuristics and sampling methods
  • You have hands-on experience with generative AI
  • Proficiency in optimizing the performance of applications, frameworks, or libraries
  • Java development experience
