Summary

Join Pismo and contribute to the development of a platform enabling financial institutions to register investment transactions via API. You will design and develop scalable, high-performance solutions, from architecture to deployment and post-release support. Analyze business requirements and propose efficient technical solutions. Document, test, and monitor applications, ensuring quality and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and participate in on-call rotations. The platform offers services including asset registration, redemptions, report generation, and asset accrual.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English at B2 level (Upper Intermediate)
  • Extensive experience designing and maintaining high-availability, high-throughput Java-based systems in production environments
  • Proven expertise in building streaming data pipelines using messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS Kinesis
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including SQS, SNS, EventBridge, S3, Step Functions, and Lambda for cloud-native development and event-driven architectures
  • Solid background in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures at scale
  • Proficient in working with both relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Experience working with Big Data processing tools and platforms such as Databricks, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and Data Lakes
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation in cloud environments

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop end-to-end, scalable, and high-performance solutions, covering all phases from architectural definition to production deployment and post-release support
  • Analyze and understand business requirements, proposing robust technical solutions to complex problems with a focus on simplicity and efficiency
  • Document, test, and monitor applications, ensuring solution quality and reliability. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments
  • Participate in on-call rotations, supporting the stability and availability of production systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing DevOps pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) at scale
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate and manage cloud infrastructure
