Senior System Administrator

Summary

Join Intelerad as a Senior System Administrator and contribute to the deployment, optimization, and fortification of Microsoft/SQL applications. You will be responsible for direct configuration, defining automation strategies, and cross-training within the team. This role involves standardizing deployment architectures, automating IT infrastructure, and streamlining application performance. You will participate in migrating components to AWS cloud services and contribute to building documentation and training. Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
• System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields
• 3+ years of system administration experience

• Strong technical aptitude and an understanding of medical imaging
• Excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
• Attention to detail and strong problem solving abilities
• Expert knowledge of the following technologies: IntelePACS / Clario Worklist / Digisonics
• Expert knowledge of the following technologies: Windows Server 2019 / Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 & 8
• Expert knowledge of the following technologies: Microsoft SQL / PostgreSQL
• Expert knowledge of the following technologies: Shell, Python or PowerShell

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Intelerad's software solutions remotely on Linux and/or Windows servers
• Perform complex server additions, software upgrades, configuration changes and disaster recoveries
• Perform 3rd level support in the areas of changes
• Participate in operational tasks with multiple products
• Identify, assess and implement improvements to processes and technologies to deliver a better product
• Develop scripts and automation to improve the efficiency of system administration
• Participate in training new staff members
• Create, maintain and improve documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation to assist with emergencies reported after hours
• Work on week-ends, after hours and holidays when needed

• Basic Knowledge of all of the following technologies: Windows Operating Systems
• Basic Knowledge of all of the following technologies: NoSQL and SQL Databases
• Basic Knowledge of all of the following technologies: Version tracking tools (Mercurial, Git, RCS), an asset
• Basic Knowledge of all of the following technologies: Networking
• Basic Knowledge of all of the following technologies: Storage
• Basic Knowledge of all of the following technologies: Software development
