Summary

Join Ergomed Group, a rapidly expanding CRO specializing in Oncology and Rare Diseases, as a Cloud Architect. You will architect, design, and implement enterprise-level Azure cloud solutions, leading IT infrastructure projects and providing technical leadership in cloud adoption. Responsibilities include optimizing cloud costs and performance, implementing security frameworks, automating infrastructure deployment, and troubleshooting complex issues. You will collaborate with DevOps teams and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, 7+ years of relevant experience, and expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure services. Strong automation, scripting, and communication skills are essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in IT system engineering, cloud architecture, or a related role
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, and Security
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
  • Strong experience in automation and scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, VPNs, and firewall management
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise-level IT infrastructure, virtualization, and containerization
  • Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a leadership capacity
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with GxP and GAMP5 framework

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of enterprise-level Azure cloud solutions
  • Lead IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices
  • Provide technical leadership in cloud adoption, migration strategies, and hybrid cloud environments
  • Optimize cloud costs, performance, and security through continuous assessment and innovation
  • Implement and enforce cloud governance, compliance, and security frameworks
  • Automate cloud infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Troubleshoot complex system and network issues, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices for cloud operations
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training to the IT team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500) are highly desirable
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies and solutions
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise IT frameworks
