Join the Eqvilent Finance team as a Senior Tax Manager to showcase your expertise in international tax regulations and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Have professional experience in taxation (5+ years) including experience within a Big 4, law firm, consultancy firm or international group
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in law, economics, finance or from a business school, ideally with a major in tax
  • Having an additional professional certification (ATID, APCIT, ATT, CTA or equal) will be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of the tax implications of a multinational company
  • Previous experience with corporate income tax, withholding taxes, value-added tax (VAT), and personal income tax is mandatory
  • Previous experience with tax legislation in the following jurisdictions is an advantage: UAE, UK, EU, India, Hong Kong and other Asian countries
  • Confident knowledge of general concepts, trends, and rules of international taxation (Double tax treaties, OECD Model tax convention, MLI, CFC rules, transfer pricing rules, tax residence rules, permanent establishment rules, BEPS)
  • Meticulous and highly organized, with a keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in complex situations

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tax planning and assess the tax impact of Eqvilent’s business operations and transactions across multiple jurisdictions
  • Perform in-depth tax research and analyze technical tax issues, legislative changes, compliance requirements, regulatory proposals, and relevant judicial practices affecting the company’s activities globally
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants, including compiling their recommendations for new jurisdictions, managing KYC procedures, and ensuring timely communication (preparing call notes, tracking report deadlines, sending follow-ups, and organizing consultant-provided materials)
  • Assist the CFO by monitoring tax filing deadlines and organizing tax-related documentation across various jurisdictions
