Join us on our mission to bring players together in an inviting, immersive world where they can make their mark. As a Tech Designer, you will be responsible for taking design and turning it into gameplay using our scripting and game editing tools.

Requirements

• Experience with C++, a scripting language, or a strong motivation to learn
• Ability to communicate with technical-minded individuals
• Experience using tools and scripts to create gameplay effects, including modding tools
• Self-motivated and capable of breaking down complex tasks
• Passionate about gameplay

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between design and engineering to establish requirements for tools and systems, ensuring they are fit for purpose
• Advocate for the creators, ensuring that tools and systems are user-friendly and intuitive
• Lead technical improvements to enhance systems
• Utilize in-engine scripting tools
• Bring NPCs to life using behavior systems and scripting tools
• Configure gameplay with our custom asset system
