Summary

Join Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC), a leading Insurtech company, as a Senior Technical Product Manager. You will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for major product areas, focusing on delivering value to customers and achieving business outcomes. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to influence the broader product direction in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct customer research, and prioritize impactful business outcomes over feature delivery. You will also mentor junior product managers, stay ahead of industry trends, and champion continuous improvement in product development processes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Experience: 7+ years of product management experience, with a focus on technical products in a technology-driven environment. Experience in insurance or Insurtech is a plus
  • Technical Background: Deep understanding of software development, data architectures, and emerging technologies such as AI/ML. Familiarity with data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, vector databases) is a plus
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and drive complex initiatives to successful outcomes
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
  • Agile Expertise: Extensive experience with agile methodologies and product development frameworks
  • Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members

Responsibilities

  • Define Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with ISCโ€™s business goals and technology strategy, leveraging user experience, data, and AI/ML to drive innovation
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative products that meet customer needs and drive exponential business growth
  • Drive Customer-Centric Discovery: Conduct customer research, analyze data, and use insights to inform product decisions, ensuring solutions address real user needs and deliver measurable value
  • Focus on Outcomes Over Outputs: Prioritize and deliver impactful business outcomes, such as increased broker engagement or operational efficiency, rather than just feature delivery
  • Collaborate with Technical Teams: Work closely with engineering and design to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and an exceptional user experience, bridging the gap between technical and business priorities
  • Mentor Junior Talent: Guide and mentor junior product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and improvement within the product team
  • Influence Broader Product Direction: Act as an internal thought leader, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth in the Insurtech space and shaping ISCโ€™s long-term product roadmap
  • Build Stakeholder Relationships: Engage with executives, customers, and partners to align product initiatives with company goals and represent ISC in industry discussions
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep abreast of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, data architectures) and Insurtech trends, integrating relevant advancements into the product strategy
  • Drive Process Innovation: Champion continuous improvement in product development processes, encouraging experimentation and iterative development in line with agile principles

Preferred Qualifications

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the insurance industry, commercial wholesaling, or related fields is an advantage
