Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in technical product management, including managing roadmaps, defining strategies, and aligning cross-functional teams in enterprise SaaS
- Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse teams, including engineering, partnerships, sales, and services, to align on priorities and enable success
- Strong understanding of data management systems, including databases, data warehouses, ETL tools, and API integrations
- Skilled in gathering insights from users and stakeholders to define features that deliver real impact
- Experience balancing technical complexity with user-centric design, ensuring features meet the needs of both technical and non-technical users
- Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strategic problem-solver with a focus on achieving shared goals
- Collaborative and adaptable, with a passion for building impactful products
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for metadata collection and lineage, balancing technical capabilities with market needs and user experience for both technical and non-technical users
- Lead discovery efforts to identify new opportunities for growth, such as additional integrations or enhanced lineage insights, partnering with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners to deeply understand their goals, challenges, and feedback
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify differentiation opportunities for our metadata and lineage capabilities
- Think holistically about the user experience, ensuring metadata and lineage features are intuitive, impactful, and integrated seamlessly into the overall platform
- Lead enablement efforts for sales, services, and partners, ensuring teams are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and messaging to effectively communicate the value of metadata and lineage features
- Collaborate with our services and technology partnership teams to gain access to their software and navigate technical and strategic complexities, ensuring smooth integration with partner systems
- Act as a trusted partner with the engineering manager to set prioritization and ensure effective execution of the technical roadmap, focusing on long-term scalability, accuracy, and adaptability to changing systems
- Work with the design and documentation teams to deliver features that meet the needs of a diverse user base, from technical developers to business users
- Work with marketing to craft compelling messaging that highlights our product’s market-leading features
- Act as a technical resource for the sales team, addressing customer inquiries and supporting deal strategy. Develop and maintain a library of customer-facing resources (e.g., FAQs, demo scripts, integration guides) to empower sales and customer success teams
