Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent industry experience)
  • 2+ Years Experience in Product Management for a highly technical product
  • Mobile development experience, you must be able to build an application in at least one of the following languages: Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native
  • A keen interest to learn, Ditto is innovating and moving fast, you won’t have all the answers but must be capable of finding them
  • To be self-driven, nobody will tell you how to manage your day, how you work, or hand-hold you to success
  • A problem solving mindset, not every problem can be solved by throwing engineers at it
  • The desire to understand the mobile development landscape and modern mobile development practices
  • A willingness to travel (including internationally) once a quarter for company meetups and other events as necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to collaborate with people from different parts of the company and customers, both technical and non-technical

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Product Leadership to ensure that your product area aligns with the company strategy
  • Work directly with customers and customer-facing teams to ensure that the product is meeting customer needs and identify new opportunities
  • Own your product area end-to-end: contribute to documentation, blog posts, demos, internal enablement and marketing materials for new features
  • Collaborate with the broader product team to ensure success for cross-functional projects involving your product area
  • Work with your associated Engineering team(s) to define and prioritize projects including customer requests, tech debt, and specific initiatives; making trade-off calls as required
  • Actively maintain a view of how the market, competition, and adjacent technologies evolve, and factor this information into the direction of your product area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a remote, globally distributed team
  • Experience with offline-first technologies (e.g. Couchbase Mobile, Atlas Device SDK, Firebase)
  • Experience working on SDKs for mobile applications
