Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology or any related field required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Senior Technology Manager in a remote global environment
  • Senior-level experience in IT management, networking, and systems integration
  • Proficient in Windows 365 and strong AI knowledge
  • Extensive software development experience, including API development and coding
  • Background in business system integration and platform management
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems, cybersecurity, and analytics
  • Experience with project management and estimation tools such as Simpro, Bluebeam, and Ground Plan
  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing technology professionals
  • Knowledge of Power Apps and SharePoint, ability to use Power BI for general business reporting
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection software and practices

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring seamless functionality of all systems and networks
  • Manage and integrate multiple devices and platforms within our network, enhancing overall efficiency and performance
  • Lead software development initiatives, focusing on API development (REST APIs) and innovative coding solutions
  • Drive the integration of various business systems and platforms, particularly for newly acquired businesses, aligning them into a cohesive, managed group system
  • Implement and manage CCTV analytics and cybersecurity measures
  • Foster an innovative environment, promoting cutting-edge thinking and solutions
  • Provide mentorship and development pathways for technology staff, nurturing skills in AI and other emerging technologies
  • Optimize the use of Windows 365, Simpro, Bluebeam, Ground Plan, and other relevant tools to improve business processes
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, fixes, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for technology and infrastructure growth
  • Analyze and improve business processes through data analytics and integration solutions
  • Collaborate with various departments to align technological initiatives with business goals
  • Create and manage policies around IT, technology, and AI within the business, ensuring compliance with Australian guidelines and standards
