Summary
Join ARETUM as a Senior Test Automation Engineer to contribute to a large-scale enterprise application modernization project for a federal client. You will be responsible for expanding existing test automation, building new automated test capabilities for applications under development (using Cucumber for UI testing and GraphQL APIs), and integrating these tests with CI/CD tools and AKS environments. This role requires extensive experience in automated testing, Kubernetes/Docker Azure environments, and Agile/DevOps processes. The position offers remote work and requires US citizenship, a background check, and client references. A Bachelor's degree is required.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience with the automated testing tools and techniques
- 3+ yearsβ experience using automated testing tools to include Cucumber, Selenium, Eggplant, etc
- Experience operating in a Kubernetes/Docker Azure environment
- Experience operating in a CI/CD automated pipeline
- Ability to work with multiple streams of technical work, ensuring consistency across all projects
- Ability to work with Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps processes
- 3+ years of experience developing test scripts
- Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS)
- Per our Federal clientβs request, United States Citizenship is required
- Must be able to provide three past/current client references to new client prior to interview
- Background and credit check is necessary to pass a Federal public trust clearance, which is necessary for this position
Responsibilities
- Expand upon existing Cucumber test automation to include more application modules and scenarios
- Build additional or supporting test suites for the LIMS UI
- Integrate the automated tests with existing integration environments in AKS
- Build and integrate API-level tests for GraphQL APIs to verify data through queries and business logic through mutations
- All test suites must be integrated with established CI/CD tools and AKS environments
- Integrate all tests with established CI/CD tools and processes
- All test execution must be integrated with existing integration environments hosted in Azure (using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS)
- Ensure all test results are published though existing CI/CD tools and make use of existing tools for reporting test results
- Must be flexible, able to work in a highly collaborative environment, juggle multiple tasks at once, and work independently and collaboratively as needed
- Must have superior interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
- Be comfortable working directly with the Client Project Manager and Client Technical Lead to support emerging client needs
