Senior Tester/Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Tester/Senior Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). You will lead testing activities across several custom .NET software applications deployed in Microsoft Azure Cloud. Collaborate with various stakeholders using agile methodology. Lead User Acceptance Testing sessions and perform various testing types (regression, load/stress, unit, smoke, integration, accessibility, functional, and security). This role requires expertise in Microsoft Azure DevOps, SEN and EARS databases, Agile framework, and specific testing tools. A security clearance (or ability to obtain one) and several certifications are mandatory.

Requirements

• Expert level proficiency in all elements of Microsoft Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Test Plans, Dashboards creation, security, and permissions)
• Minimum of 2 years, technical knowledge of the SEN and EARS database structure and understanding of the SEN and EARS business rules
• Existing security clearance and /or able to obtain security clearance
• Deep understanding of the Agile framework and development methodology
• Expert level proficiency in testing tools user by these custom applications o JMeter 5.6.2 Selenium Test Studio R1 2022 ANDI 2.1
• Programming Languages (Java, .NET, Visual Basic, SQL VB Script, Descriptive Programming)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable working directly with customers/agents without supervision, in an International Law Enforcement environment
• Professionalism, openness and a positive attitude
• SCRUM/Agile Certification (Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, Product Owner, SAFe,Certified Agile Practitioner)
• Certified DHS 508 Compliance Trusted Tester
• ISTQB Certified Agile Tester (CTFL-AT)
• Azure Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Software Testing Fundamentals Certification
• CMMI Certified Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead all testing activities across several custom .NET software applications being deployed in the Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Work closely with business analysts, scrum masters, product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders
• Lead User Acceptance Testing sessions as part of every sprint and roles
• Perform regression testing, load/stress testing, unit testing, smoke testing, integration testing, accessibility (508) testing, functional testing, and security testing
