Remote Senior UI Designer

Join Mint Mobile as a Senior UI Designer and contribute to shaping the digital web platforms' visual and interactive direction for our brands. As a hybrid position, you'll have the flexibility to work both remotely and in the office.

Requirements

• 4+ years of UI design experience for touch-based mobile interfaces for e-commerce (D2C brands preferred)
• Strong portfolio with examples of visually compelling and functional UI designs
• Expert knowledge of visual design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, iconography, and digital image preparation
• Expert knowledge of modern UI patterns, elements, interactions, and responsive web design
• Experience with animation tools and a strong affinity for user interface animation
• Ability to articulate the rationale behind design decisions and provide a clear point of view
• High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple design projects of varying sizes without sacrificing quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Experience Designers (UX), Digital Designers, Copywriters, Developers, Animators, Project Managers, and Senior Creative Director
• Lead the creation of visually stunning and intuitive UI designs
• Take ownership of the design process
• Utilize and contribute to our Design Systems
• Present your work and concepts to the team and key stakeholders
• Conceptualize and integrate user interface animations
• Focus on creating high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
• Uphold brand consistency and maintain design standards across all projects
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, tools, visual design trends, and competitive products
• Collaborate, mentor, and guide mid-level and junior-level designers on large projects
