Summary

Join Encora as a Senior UI/UX and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable software applications. Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve software development practices. Work in a small team to define product strategy and iteratively enhance user experience. Tackle complex projects, collaborating with various teams to understand users and make critical design decisions. Balance art and science in design choices, and be bold in taking calculated risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related or technical field
• Professional/ Advanced English skills
• 3+ years of experience in an individual contributor role, designing end-to-end web applications for enterprise use cases
• Data-oriented, including experience designing data-heavy products
• Ability to flesh out and simplify complex workflows
• Ability to rapidly prototype designs and U/X (e.g., creating clickable prototypes)
• Fluency in Figma
• Fluency in design systems

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications
• Lead technical projects
• Mentor junior engineers
• Continuously improve software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems
• Work in a small team to help define the product strategy and iteratively improve user experience
• Tackle complex and ambiguous projects, collaborating with Research, Product Management, Engineering and Business partners to understand your users and collect data needed to make critical design decisions
• Balance art and science, knowing when to invest in UX testing vs when to lean on expertise, but also being bold enough to take big, calculated risks

Preferred Qualifications

Comfort with AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, v0) and either experience with or interest in generative AI implementations
