Senior UI/UX Designer

Summary

Join Aurora Solar's Design System team as a Senior UI/UX Designer and be the visual force behind our award-winning solar software products. You will drive innovation in visual solutions, coach fellow designers, and collaborate closely with engineering. Your responsibilities include researching and designing interface components, performing usability testing, creating Figma prototypes, and working with stakeholders to define requirements. You will also contribute to the evolution of our design system for expanding solar product offerings. This role requires expertise in Figma, UX design concepts, and user testing, along with a related degree. A portfolio is required for application.

Requirements

• Degree in human-computer interaction, interaction design, graphic design, or a related field
• Working knowledge of UX design concepts
• Expertise in component creation and Auto Layout in Figma
• UX design tools such as Figma, Flinto and InVision
• Experience with user testing and usability analysis

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation in visual solutions, in terms of systems
• Coach fellow designers to strengthen visual design practices
• Work in close conjunction with engineering to develop product components and a visual QA processes
• Move fluidly from conceptual design to deliverables: high-level concepting, wireframes, product design, user-interface, and interaction design, visual design, storytelling, and prototyping in Figma
• Work with product stakeholders to identify requirements
• Work within and continue to evolve our design system for our expanding solar product offerings
