Summary

Join PeopleFun, an award-winning mobile game creator, as a foundational pillar in developing a new Wordscapes title. You will design, implement, and own core game systems, impacting everything from shared systems to core gameplay. This role involves building high-quality mobile games and shaping a project's technical direction. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to a popular franchise's future. Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional mobile F2P experience: Solid understanding of mobile free-to-play game development principles
  • Unity Expertise: Deep understanding of the Unity game engine and its best practices. Demonstrated ability to prototype quickly and efficiently
  • System Design & Development: Proven experience as a Unity engineer, with strong skills in coding, debugging, and optimization. Ability to architect, implement, and own complex systems
  • Engineering Best Practices: Experience with unit testing, automation, and load testing
  • Efficiency: Ability to quickly grasp project scope, design effective solutions, and execute with minimal waste. Strong prioritization skills
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Constructive and collaborative feedback delivery

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and maintain complex gameplay systems, with initial focus on areas like shared ui and core gameplay systems
  • Write clean and efficient code leveraging SOLID principles
  • Drive the technical implementation of major game features from concept to launch, ensuring high quality and performance
  • Write clear technical and process documentation
  • Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers, artists, producers, product managers, and QA supporting each group when needed
