Senior Ux Designer II

Requirements

• An active U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance (or higher)
• 7-10+ years of UX Design experience
• Experience working on web and mobile applications in a collaborative, agile environment
• Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Strong knowledge of usability principles, user research methodologies, and accessibility standards (508 compliance)
• Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and their rationale
• Analytical mindset with a focus on solving complex user problems through design
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from users and stakeholders
• Define information architecture
• Create sample user personas
• Document user workflow
• Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Apply the results from user research and usability testing to create new features and improve current features
• Perform user research, usability testing, or facilitate focus groups
