Senior VAD Environment Artist

We are seeking a Senior VAD Environment Artist to join our Production Team in one of our European studios (London, Stuttgart, or Frankfurt) or remotely (within Europe). You will create realistic environments, lighting, and atmospheric effects within Unreal Engine. This role requires extensive experience in Unreal Engine, exceptional lighting and composition skills, and a strong understanding of texturing and 3D software. Requirements

• Experience in creating environments in Unreal Engine
• Exceptional understanding of lighting and composition
• Excellent knowledge of texturing and 3D software, Unreal Engine environment creation pipelines, and tools
• Task-driven and proactive with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Self-motivated and flexible, with excellent communication skills
• Positive, solution-oriented individual and able to work without direct supervision
• Technically proficient, able to identify and collaborate on pipeline innovations

Responsibilities

• Create realistic environments in Unreal Engine
• Create realistic lighting and atmospheric effects
• Create shaders for different asset purposes
• Create high and mid-poly environment models, foliage, and architecture
• Possess a strong understanding of texturing
• Ability to communicate ideas and iterate in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Photogrammetry experience
• Knowledge of Substance Designer / Painter is a plus
