Join Voodoo, a leading mobile game publisher, as a VFX Artist! Based in Paris (with remote options in Europe), you'll design and create stunning particle effects for our casual and mid-core games. You'll integrate your VFX into Unity, collaborate with artists, and ensure technical compliance. As the company's VFX expert, you'll mentor others and stay ahead of industry trends. This role requires proficiency in Unity, Photoshop, and shader writing. Experience with Maya, Blender, or Houdini is a plus. Requirements

• Design and implement high-quality VFX using Unity and Photoshop
• Collaborate with art and development teams to ensure visual effects align seamlessly with the overall artistic direction and technical requirements of mobile platforms
• Write and optimize shaders for visually compelling and performance-efficient effects
• Maintain high standards of creativity, quality, and innovation, contributing to the ongoing visual refinement of our games

Responsibilities

• Design and create visually stunning particles to enhance the wow factor and game feel of all our upcoming casual puzzle and midcore games
• Integrate your VFX into the Unity game engine, working closely with artists
• Ensure compliance with technical limitations to produce both visually appealing and functional effects
• Be the go-to person in the company for anything related to VFX, teaching other artists all your tricks
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to ensure our VFX are cutting-edge
