Senior Video Editor/Content Creator

Summary

Join a Fortune 500 tech company as a Senior Video Editor for a one-year W2 engagement, starting August 11, 2025, with a rate range of $4,000/week. The position is preferably located in the Bay Area, but Los Angeles and remote NYC options are available. You will create short-form video content for social media platforms, utilizing AI technologies and collaborating with a creative team. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of experience in video editing, expertise in various software, and a passion for innovative storytelling. This role requires strong creative instincts, collaboration skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in content creation- editing digital and/or social video
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools
• Working knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects)
• Interest in or experience with generative AI editing tools (Runway, Sora, Adobe Sensei, etc.)
• Strong creative instincts and visual storytelling skills
• Experience working under tight deadlines while maintaining high production quality
• Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable receiving feedback in real-time

Responsibilities

• Content Creation- Edit short-form and campaign video content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
• Shape visual stories from raw footage with a strong eye for pacing, rhythm, and emotion
• Incorporate sound, motion, effects, and text to enhance storytelling and engagement
• Collaborate with copywriters, designers, producers, and AI creatives to bring bold ideas to life
• Use tools like Runway, Adobe Sensei, or other AI-powered platforms to streamline workflows and explore new creative approaches
• Optimize content per platform-specific specs and trends
• Maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and archives
• Work across multiple projects in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Portfolio of high-performing social content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, etc.)
• Skills in color correction, sound design, or audio editing
• Experience working with multidisciplinary creative teams
• A personal creative practice or side project exploring new video formats, storytelling structures, or tech-driven editing
