ARETUM is seeking a Senior Web and Mobile Development Engineer with 7+ years' experience in application development, preferably in a federal government setting. Requirements

• At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 7+ years’ experience in application development
• 3 years’ experience in the design and development of large-scale enterprise mobile applications, preferably in a federal government setting
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java and GoLang
• Experience in development of native Mobile applications using Xcode and Android Studio
• Experience with both Front-end Mobile and Back-end RESTFUL API development
• Experience with Databases such as SQL, and MySQL
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and change management software
• Knowledge and experience of developing Mobile apps following MVVM architecture
• Experience with UI design tool such as FIGMA
• Security+ certification
• Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and develop N-tier Enterprise cross-platform applications that supports mobile devices (iPhone and Android) to all form factors
• In collaboration with customer, define functional specifications for mobile applications
• Implement multi-device application features as part of interactive Agile development processes
• Research, adopt, and integrate new mobile technologies
• Collaborate with the Government to develop test plans and ensure the successful deployment of mobile applications and updates
• Conduct unit testing, verification and validation, deployment, and maintenance of mobile apps
• Develop and configure applications utilizing modern, mobile, and cross-compatible architectures
• Conduct UX research and design and incorporate human-centered design and UX design practices
• Create and maintain Agile SOPs and release documentation as directed by the Government
• Design and develop mobile applications for iPhone and/or Android, including server-side APIs
• Create high-performance front-end application interfaces
• Implement secure RESTful services supporting mobile applications
• Develop APIs for a variety of data-driven systems and assist in continual transformation efforts
