Summary

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related is required; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience in web application development
  • Strong proficiency in Typescript or JavaScript
  • Experience with modern web frameworks (Vue.js preferred)
  • Excellent understanding of software development best practices: testing, CI/CD, agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, validate, and maintain robust and scalable web applications for the review and manipulation of 3D medical images
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces
  • Integrate backend services and APIs to support web application functionality
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Drive the release and monitoring of web application components
  • Participate with the rest of the team in supporting production
  • Participate in cross-functional conversations with Product team, Process Engineering team, and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with medical imaging in web applications
  • Experience with WebGL or other 3D graphics libraries
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (Amazon Web Services or equivalent) for web application deployment
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Experience with Python and C++

Benefits

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $140,000 to $175,000 (for all locations outside San Francisco Bay Area) and $150,000 to $215,000 (for San Francisco Bay Area), cash bonus, and stock options
