Summary

The job is for a Senior Web Developer with Shopify expertise for a freelance project in Chile. The candidate will develop and personalize a Shopify store from scratch, integrate and configure third-party applications, optimize the site's performance, solve technical issues, ensure SEO standards, document development processes, and test continuously.

Requirements

• Minimum experience of 5 years in web development, with at least 3 years specifically in Shopify
• Experience in creating and personalizing Shopify stores from scratch
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
• Experience with API integrations and third-party services in Shopify
• Knowledge in SEO and web performance best practices
• Familiarity with development tools such as Git

Responsibilities

• Develop and personalize a Shopify store online, including creating themes, templates, and custom applications according to client needs
• Integrate and configure third-party applications to improve the functionality of the store
• Optimize the speed, response capacity, and usability of the online store
• Solve technical issues and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance of the store
• Ensure that the store complies with SEO, accessibility, and web development best practices before launch
• Document development processes and perform continuous testing to ensure code quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Magento
• Previous experience in developing online stores within an agency environment
• Certifications in web development or related e-commerce platforms
