Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in a virtualized Windows Server environment or comparable qualifications
• Proficiency in Windows Server 2016 and newer versions, with strong knowledge of Hyper-V and clustering
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills and experience in automation
• Familiarity with system management tools and ITIL-based process management
• Self-motivated, independent, and responsible, with a confident and assertive approach to problem-solving
• Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016 and newer), with a focus on performance, high availability, and virtualization using Hyper-V and Microsoft Clustering
• Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks, streamline operations, and enhance efficiency
• Perform upgrades, patches, and improvements, ensuring systems adhere to ITIL standards and comply with organizational policies
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, taking proactive measures to minimize downtime and ensure seamless user experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain system integrity and security, providing technical expertise for projects and ongoing operations
• Handle and resolve technical support tickets, prioritizing tasks to meet SLAs and maintain system reliability
