Summary

Join Ramboll’s management consulting division as a Senior Consultant/Managing Consultant in industrial policy and competitiveness. Work with a dynamic team addressing research and innovation, competitiveness, sustainability, and strategic autonomy. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business, economics, political science, or related fields
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in consulting, research, or policy work, preferably with exposure to public sector clients
  • Proven ability to design and deliver innovative research approaches and to produce high-quality, policy-relevant reports across a wide range of thematic areas and methodologies
  • Experience in leading the development of successful proposals, including for EU public sector clients
  • Experience in managing large and multi-stakeholder projects, including oversight of budgets, teams, and deliverables
  • Strong skills in collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative data, and in drafting coherent, evidence-based texts
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong interest in working with public sector clients and engaging with industry stakeholders to support the development and implementation of impactful policy measures
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following topics is required: economic growth and competitiveness, innovative and clean technologies, just transition, manufacturing capacities, or supply chain resilience
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is essential

Responsibilities

  • Delivering on projects and consulting assignments for the European institutions, industry associations and private companies on EU innovation policy, industrial policy and competitiveness
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities, including by coordinating and drafting proposals
  • Planning and executing data collection and evidence gathering activities, qualitative and quantitative analyses, stakeholder consultations, strategy and planning processes
  • Contributing to robust analysis and compelling report writing
  • Designing and implementing stakeholder engagement processes, to inform analyses or facilitate decisions
  • Participating in meetings with clients and partners, to pitch on our methodological choices or present and discuss our study findings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced statistical methods or data analysis tools (e.g., R, STATA) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in French, Dutch or German is considered a plus
  • An interest in developing further project management capabilities is welcomed
