Summary
Join Terakeet's Technical SEO department as a (Sr.) SEO Analyst, contributing to the success of global brands. Evaluate client properties, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and developing data-driven recommendations. Conduct competitive analyses, keyword research, and website audits to optimize online presence. Prepare and communicate findings to internal stakeholders, leveraging data visualization tools. Monitor performance using various analytics platforms and develop reports using Excel, Google Sheets, and DataStudio. Execute ad hoc requests, demonstrating creative problem-solving skills. This role reports to a Technical SEO Lead and requires strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills.
Requirements
- Ability to understand search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Demonstrated ability to articulate and deliver reports or recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
- Proven success in utilizing analytics platforms and data to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action against business goals
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships
- Comfortable functioning in spaces with high ambiguity and adapting easily to changing environments
- Keen attention to detail is essential to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency in project completion
Responsibilities
- Evaluate client properties to ensure alignment with SEO best practices, develop recommendations, and evaluate program performance over time
- Provides competitive and market opportunity analyses as they relate to search intent, competitor niche saturation, backlink profiles, and SERP anomalies
- Performs keyword research for multiple segments of a clientβs website
- Performs website audits and develops related recommendations to ensure SEO best practice compliance
- Prepares findings from analysis and effectively communicates to internal stakeholders by telling the story within the data in a digestible format for the audience
- Monitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics, proprietary tools, and others as needed
- Develop reports leveraging Excel, Google Sheets, and DataStudio
- Execute ad hoc requests as needed, ensuring a comprehensive view of the issue and potential solutions by providing an appropriate level of detail and creative thinking
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree preferred - Concentration in Marketing or a related field
- Professional work experience in a related role is preferred
