SEO Specialist

Summary

Join Mannix Marketing, a digital marketing agency, as an SEO Specialist to boost organic traffic for clients. You will implement SEO strategies, perform keyword research and audits, execute technical SEO improvements, develop backlinking strategies, set up conversion tracking, perform on-page optimizations, and create performance reports. This fully remote, full-time contract role offers flexible hours (9 AM–4 PM EST availability) and a monthly salary of $2000–$3750. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of SEO experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, excellent communication skills, and strong technical SEO knowledge. Experience with various SEO tools is also required. This position requires working independently and remotely.

Requirements

• 3+ years SEO experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
• Excellent English writing and speaking skills
• Strong familiarity with WordPress backend and content management
• Demonstrated experience in backlinking and digital PR (crucial)
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO implementation
• Experience with SEO tools: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, Google Search Console, or similar tools
• Advanced understanding of foundational SEO and keyword research
• Proficiency in web analytics and performance tracking
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Implement SEO strategies as directed by the in-house team
• Perform comprehensive keyword research and SEO audits
• Execute technical SEO improvements on client websites
• Develop and maintain effective backlinking and digital PR strategies
• Set up conversion tracking & monitor website performance
• Perform on-page SEO optimizations
• Create regular performance reports for clients and internal teams
• Stay current with SEO best practices and algorithm updates

Preferred Qualifications

• SEO or related field certifications are a plus
• Experience with HubSpot, Webflow, or Shopify platforms
