Requirements

  • Proven track record as an SEO Specialist with experience in both link-building and on-page SEO optimization, demonstrating successful improvements in organic search rankings
  • Expertise in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms for comprehensive link analysis, keyword research, and on-page optimization
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with website owners and stakeholders for link acquisition
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to make informed decisions for both link-building and on-page strategies
  • Up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in both link-building and on-page SEO
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute strategies that enhance the website’s authority, visibility, and rankings on search engines
  • Identify and acquire high-quality backlinks from reputable and relevant websites through research, outreach, and negotiation
  • Analyze and optimize existing backlink profiles, assessing strengths and weaknesses, identifying broken links, and evaluating backlink quality
  • Develop and implement comprehensive link-building strategies, utilizing tactics such as guest blogging, directory submissions, and partnerships
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of backlinks, tracking their impact on search rankings and website traffic
  • Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and internal linking structures, to enhance search engine visibility
  • Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure that SEO best practices are integrated into web pages and content from the outset
  • Regularly audit the website for technical SEO issues, ensuring the site remains optimized for both users and search engines
  • Work closely with the COO to align the link-building and on-page SEO strategies with overarching SEO and marketing goals, ensuring a cohesive approach
