Summary
Join Accelecom, a leading provider of fiber-based internet and network solutions, as a Service Delivery and Assurance Network Engineer Team Lead in Atlanta, GA. This hands-on leadership role involves managing a team of engineers, ensuring successful service delivery and performance. You will be responsible for provisioning, implementation, quality assurance, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in telecom or ISP environments with a focus on network engineering or service delivery
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead capacity
- Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, including Ethernet, IP/MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN technologies
- Experience with Juniper, Fujitsu and Rad preferred
- Skilled in network provisioning, troubleshooting, and customer service assurance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta, GA area
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a local team of network engineers focused on service activation and assurance
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end provisioning and delivery of fiber-based services
- Ensure all services are implemented on time, meet quality standards, and align with customer expectations
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex service delivery and assurance issues
- Coordinate closely with internal departments (Sales, Engineering, NOC) to ensure seamless execution
- Monitor network and service performance to maintain SLA compliance
- Drive standardization of service delivery processes and documentation
- Track and report key metrics related to delivery timelines, quality, and customer outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or MEF-CECP
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, DWDM, and fiber transport technologies
- Experience working in a fast-paced or growth-stage telecom environment
