Summary

Join Paralucent, a technology project delivery and staffing company, as a ServiceNow Developer specializing in Business Continuity Management (BCM) and IT Service Management (ITSM). This long-term contract or full-time permanent position requires experience in configuring and implementing ServiceNow solutions, particularly in BCM and ITSM modules. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining BCM and ITSM applications within ServiceNow, ensuring they meet the organization's needs and industry best practices. You will collaborate with stakeholders, develop workflows, and provide technical expertise and support to end-users. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in configuring and implementing ServiceNow solutions, with specific experience in BCM and ITSM modules
  • Strong understanding of Business Continuity Management and IT Service Management principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, workflows, forms, and integrations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create detailed configuration and process documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow BCM and ITSM modules to meet the organization's business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT service management requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective ServiceNow solutions
  • Develop and maintain workflows, forms, scripts, and integrations related to BCM and ITSM within the ServiceNow platform
  • Ensure the BCM and ITSM modules are aligned with the organization's policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of the BCM and ITSM configurations to ensure they remain effective and up-to-date
  • Provide technical expertise and support to end-users and stakeholders on ServiceNow BCM and ITSM functionalities
  • Perform thorough testing and validation of BCM and ITSM configurations to ensure functionality and performance meet the required standards
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of BCM and ITSM configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Stay current with ServiceNow releases and updates, evaluating their impact on BCM and ITSM configurations and making necessary adjustments
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users on BCM and ITSM functionalities within ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow certification in System Administration or Implementation Specialist
  • Certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP, MBCI)
  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as IT Operations Management (ITOM)
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) modules is good to have
  • Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks related to BCM, such as ISO 22301
