Summary

Join our growing SylogistEd team as a SIS Implementation Specialist to implement SylogistEd solutions for K-12 schools, configuring solutions based on best practices and customer business requirements, supporting key activities such as data conversion and end-user training, documenting success criteria for customer satisfaction, managing project plans, triaging and troubleshooting issues, gathering and documenting customer feedback, submitting enhancement requests, testing new features, collaborating with Product to deliver feature overviews and training, and supporting sales, customer support, and feature documentation efforts.

Requirements

  • Experience working with SIS and K-12 education systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools (especially PowerPoint)
  • 3+ years of implementation experience, preferably in SaaS or educational technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing, collaborative personality, able to engage well with team members and customers
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the Project Manager and the Director of Customer Success to implement SylogistEd solutions for K-12 schools
  • Configuring SylogistEd solutions based on best practices, methodologies, and customer business requirements
  • Supporting key activities such as data conversion, end-user training, user acceptance testing, and go-live support
  • Documenting and monitoring success criteria for customer satisfaction throughout the implementation
  • Participating in weekly project status meetings with the customer, Project Manager, and other team members
  • Managing project plans, including milestones, risk identification, budget tracking, and reporting progress
  • Triaging and troubleshooting issues, working closely with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution
  • Gathering and documenting customer feedback post-implementation to drive future product improvements
  • Submitting enhancement requests to the Product team based on customer needs
  • Testing new features in SylogistEd and providing feedback or reporting any bugs encountered
  • Collaborating with Product to deliver new feature overviews and training for internal teams such as Customer Support, Sales, and Marketing
  • Supporting sales, customer support, and feature documentation efforts to enhance customer adoption

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field
  • Experience with third-party vendor integration setups
  • Knowledge of school accounting or student information processes
