Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

Join our remote team as a Site Reliability Engineer at Ditto and help us ignite the future of data synchronization! As a passionate SRE, you will build and design Ditto's cloud-to-edge infrastructure with reliability and performance in mind. You will also build tools and services to allow automated infrastructure management and self-healing, including deployments and upgrades.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in an SRE-like role
• Ability to work on a 100% distributed team, collaborating on GitHub/GitLab and Slack
• Strong experience with public and government cloud and edge providers
• Experience running highly-scalable production workloads reliably on Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring at scale
• Experience managing infrastructure predictably through GitOps and IaC
• Solid programming and scripting skills
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
• Excellent written communication skills
• A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to acquire and maintain an active security clearance

Responsibilities

• Build & design Ditto’s cloud-to-edge infrastructure with reliability and performance in mind
• Build tools & services to allow automated infrastructure management and self-healing, including deployments and upgrades
• Support the end-to-end monitoring and maintenance of our Federal deployments
• Participate in on-call rotations, keeping customer workloads running and incident free
