Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

Join Work Truck Solutions as a Cloud Operations Engineer and contribute to the development of our Azure-based systems. You'll be part of a collaborative environment, working closely with development and infrastructure teams to enhance reliability, scalability, and performance. Implement automated solutions, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure security best practices are followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure, ideally in Azure (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Virtual Machines)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Solid understanding of networking principles, load balancing, and security in cloud environments
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, solving complex technical challenges

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain highly reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure
• Develop automated solutions to improve operational efficiency, system monitoring, and incident response
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and cloud integration
• Mature and grow infrastructure as code and cloud ops tooling
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, outages, and capacity issues across cloud services
• Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure proactive incident management
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all infrastructure implementations
• Participate in an on-call rotation, addressing critical production issues when needed
