SIU Investigator

Summary

The job is for a Claims Professional with SIU Investigative experience in the car space. The role involves utilizing advanced tools for fraud detection and investigation, working with the Data Science team, performing investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, compiling reports, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fraud investigation, law enforcement, or a related field
• Ability to analyze data, plan case strategy, prepare case reports, and partner with Claims team members to prove or rule out suspect factors on property losses
• Tech savvy and comfortable with advanced investigative tools (ISO, Accurint, TLO, etc.)
• Working knowledge of investigative techniques for Physical Damage, Bodily Injury, and PIP/Medical Payments fraud
• Able to create and implement investigative processes

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth investigations into suspected fraudulent activities
• Collect and analyze evidence from multiple sources
• Conduct interviews with witnesses, claimants, and suspects
• Compile detailed investigative reports
• Work with law enforcement agencies and other external organizations
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information
• Monitor and ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
• Provide training and education to employees on fraud prevention and detection techniques
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in fraud investigation and prevention

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI), or similar certification, preferred
• Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI, as a commitment to ongoing growth in this field is a fundamental part of Lemonade culture

Benefits

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $55,000 - 60,000 plus equity + benefits
