Join our team as a Service Support Specialist and contribute to solving the world's most complex challenges related to water scarcity, quality, productivity, the environment, and energy. As part of Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions, you will perform in-house and on-site equipment service support for pilot-scale water treatment technologies.

Requirements

• B.Sc. (Engineering or other) or college diploma
• Practical experience with mechanical and/or electrical equipment, experience with water treatment equipment preferred
• Proficient in standard computer software programs (MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerpoint, MSOutlook)
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) required, French consider an asset
• Ability to travel within Canada and the USA required, ability to travel to other countries considered an asset
• Ability to perform light manual tasks on-site including lifting and using hand and power tools
• Commit to a 12-16 month contract

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment including various pumps, valves, chemical dosing equipment, and online probes (pH, ORP, conductivity, and turbidity), SCADA, and PLCs
• Collection and analysis of water samples
• Communicate daily with project manager and report issues, concerns, or abnormalities
• Train the Customer’s operators on the operation of the pilot equipment
• Conduct daily activities in a safe manner which meet or exceed the Customer and SUEZ’s safety policies
• Maintain a neat, organized and professional job site and work area
