Remote Snow Developer

Summary

The Servicenow Senior Developer is responsible for providing configuration and customization of ServiceNow software solutions using various programming languages and tools. They will analyze system performance issues, administer Knowledge Base and Service Catalog, configure workflows, integrate ServiceNow applications with third-party systems, and provide input for technical documentation. General software skills required include MS Access, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, while technical/software skills needed are JavaScript, Jelly Scripting, AJAX, jQuery, MySQL, Cloud Technologies, XML, HTML, CSS, web service integrations using REST and SOAP. ServiceNow Developer certification is required, and ServiceNow System Admin certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML and CSS
• Configuration Management (CMDB)
• Analyze system performance issues and determine performance enhancements
• Administration of Knowledge Base and Service Catalog
• Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows
• Configure application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access controls
• Integrate ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems/applications via APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Developer certification is required
• ServiceNow System Admin certification preferred
• Certified implementation specialist in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD or any other module preferred
• ITIL V3 and/or V4 Certification preferred
