SOC Analyst

Summary

Join Doppel's Security Operations Center as a Security Analyst, contributing to our mission of dismantling digital deception. Analyze threat types and prevention of false positives, aid in workflows for threat detection and mitigation, and collaborate with team members for exceptional customer service. Proactively identify and suggest solutions for potential issues, and identify trends and relationships between data sources to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate possesses foundational cybersecurity knowledge, excellent communication skills, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor’s degree and prior cybersecurity experience are preferred but not required.

• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts & principles (eg., threat detection, risk mitigation)
• Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
• Excellent writing and verbal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for business needs

Responsibilities

• Analyze threat types to determine the appropriate handling technique as well as the prevention of false positives
• Aid in workflows as required including detecting, mitigating, and monitoring threats across a range of threat types
• Collaborate with team members throughout the department to aid in providing exceptional customer service
• Proactively identify potential issues and suggest solutions to improve the efficiency of the team
• Identify trends, insights, and relationships between internal and external data and intelligence sources to provide recommended risk mitigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a cybersecurity or related field
• Previous experience in a cybersecurity or related field
