Remote Software Architect

Join the team as our next Segment CDP Architect and lead architecture for the Twilio Segment team in India, guiding building of key systems and products.

Requirements

• Have a track record of 12+ years experience in designing and building large-scale, cloud-based, highly available software platforms
• Domain expertise in building large scale Customer Data Platform Infrastructure (e.g. Identity Resolution, Profiles, real time compute, low latency operational storage,sync with warehouse)
• A thought leader in the cloud architecture space with a demonstrated bias for action
• Have the ability to balance long-term objectives with urgent short-term needs
• Have demonstrated the ability to design complex systems in an iterative and evolutionary manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
• Are passionate about enabling other developers through your leadership and driving teams to efficient decisions
• Can successfully lead teams through very challenging engineering problems

Responsibilities

• Design and review core system designs making up the Segment CDP product
• Partner with other engineering leads across Twilio to build world-class products
• Ensure world-class reliability, security and cost-efficiency for all the products we build
• Mentor other engineers on the team throughout their journey
