Summary

Join our team as a Software Developer 2 and contribute to the design and implementation of custom solutions using .NET to extend Alfresco functionality. You will develop and maintain Alfresco extensions, integrate Alfresco with external systems, and administer Alfresco environments. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, upgrades, user and permission management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and providing technical leadership are also key aspects of this role. This is a remote position located in Austin, TX with a duration of 12 months. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Alfresco and .NET technologies.

Requirements

  • 6 years of Alfresco experience, including managing the digital platform, defining architecture, configuration and customization expertise, integrations to other systems, scoping and sizing work, assisting with backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Familiarity with Alfresco Share customization and AMP packaging
  • Integration of Alfresco with .NET-based systems via web services
  • Experience with Alfresco SDK, Alfresco REST APIs, and custom content models
  • .NET Framework / .NET Core
  • Alfresco server setup and configuration
  • User and group management
  • Permission and role configuration

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement custom solutions using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, Web API) to extend Alfresco functionality
  • Develop and maintain Alfresco extensions using Alfresco SDK, AMP packaging, and REST APIs
  • Integrate Alfresco with external systems using CMIS, web services, and custom connectors
  • Administer Alfresco environments including: Installation, configuration, and upgrades
  • User and permission management
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers

Preferred Qualifications

  • CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, Azure DevOps)
  • TEA Experience
  • Agile/Scrum participation
