Software Developer

Summary

Join D2L, a cloud company revolutionizing education and the future of work, as a Software Developer. You will contribute to building next-generation learning environments and solutions. This role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and QA to develop and improve our platform using various technologies. We seek developers passionate about technology and code, with experience in OO design and proficiency in languages like C++, C#, or Java. Requirements

• Experience with OO design and proficient coding skills (ie: C++, C# or Java)
• Strong understanding of Computer Science topics including: data structures, algorithms, databases, distributed systems
• Experience in software development, preferably in a technology focused company
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar technical discipline

Responsibilities

• Analyze and decompose problems into potential technical solutions
• Develop software using a wide range of technologies including distributed systems, user interfaces, mobile and cloud computing
• Collaborate closely with technical product managers, designers, and QA
