Summary

Join Zaizi as a Senior Front End Developer and contribute to high-quality software development in a demanding environment. You will develop software to meet user needs, follow best practices, and mentor junior colleagues within an Agile team. This remote role requires strong React, Redux, and TypeScript skills, along with experience in testing, accessibility, and API integration. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile and DevOps environments and a passion for new technologies. Occasional travel to the London office may be required. Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working in Agile teams
• Demonstrable experience working on product development environments based on observation, experimentation and user research
• Previous experience working in multi-disciplinary/DevOps teams which include product owner/manager, UX designers, UX researchers, Developers, Platform engineers, etc
• Demonstrable experience working on continuous integration environments
• Strong REACT and Redux experience
• TypeScript
• Testing experience-(Unit testing/End to End testing - e.g Jest)
• Good experience with CSS / SCSS
• Experience with AA Standard accessibility
• Experience with Restful API’s
• Experience developing for all major currently used browsers e.g Chrome, Edge etc
• Strong performance optimisation awareness
• Experience and confidence working with Docker
• Experience in CI/CD Pipelines
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship and who have lived in the UK for the last 5+ years continuously

Responsibilities

• Develop software to meet user needs
• Follow best-practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelines
• Write clean, secure and well-tested code
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues
• Engage with other members in an Agile team to improve software and outcomes
• Create presentations and demonstrate your work to stakeholders and the wider teams
• Take ownership of the work that they produce

• Working with UK Government or public sector
• Strong demonstrable experience and knowledge of Cloud Technologies
• Building component libraries
• Appreciation of security principals
• Demonstration of scalability and reusability
• An appreciation for UX
• BDD experience
• Appreciation for Databases
• Knowledge of PWA’s
