Software Developer/Systems Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Software Developer/Systems Engineer with AWS experience to support a DHS program. The role involves developing applications, integrating new solutions, analyzing complex application development needs, supporting hardware integration, and troubleshooting production issues. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of previous relevant experience
• Clearance: DoD Top Secret or DHS Full-BI
• 2-3 years of experience in Cloud administration/Cloud migration/Cloud Engineering
• Experience with Java, Javascript, AWS, Agile processes
• Familiarity with Win API, JSON messaging
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/HTML
• Working knowledge of Visual Studio IDE
• Familiarity with AWS Microservices
• Experience in supporting 24x7x365 operations
• Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and JIRA

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, and Angular
• Integrate new solutions into existing applications
• Analyze and solve complex application development needs
• Support hardware integration, middleware, and configurations required for production deployments
• Troubleshoot production issues
