Summary

Join OpenX as a Software Development Engineer IV - Test and contribute to the creation and delivery of innovative features for digital advertising. Requirements

  • 5+ years of test automation experience
  • Proficiency in Python or Go or JavaScript
  • Willingness to work with new programming languages and technologies
  • Ability to improve, debug, and maintain an automation framework codebase
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, testing techniques, and quality assurance principles
  • CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Spinnaker
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to triage complex issues
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Experience improving TestOps and DevOps practices across teams
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with a focus on improving developer experience

Responsibilities

  • Work in a focused and nimble team that collaborates on common problems across products and across focus areas
  • Own components, processes, and workflows that demand professionalism, excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
  • Monitor and maintain CI pipelines, and collaborate on CD enablement
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues and provide solutions for better coverage and maintainability
  • Effectively communicate and participate as a crucial member of both the DevEx team and QA organization
  • Participate in the design and implementation of automation strategies, frameworks, and infrastructure
  • Set and drive coding standards
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in test automation, development, and CI/CD
  • Focus on TestOps and DevOps practices to support testing infrastructure, developer productivity, and deployment workflows
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance the developer experience and streamline software delivery
  • Apply and explore AI tools and test strategies to improve automation and testing efficiency

Preferred Qualifications
