Summary
Join Altarum as a part-time Software Engineer and contribute to advancing population health management and healthcare delivery. You will develop and maintain software features, functions, forms, reports, and other MDSS background elements. Responsibilities include coordinating and producing release scripts and managing system and database administration. This role requires a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of MDSS experience, and expertise in database administration, implementation, PCORnet model, and Oracle. The position is part-time with no benefits and offers a competitive hourly rate. Location flexibility is available, with a hybrid option for those near Altarum offices.
Requirements
- A bachelorβs degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in computer science, software engineering, or related area
- 5 years minimum experience working with Michigan Disease Surveillance System (MDSS)
- Database backend administration experience, specifically with the National Network of Depression Centers (NNDC)
- Implementation experience
- PCORnet model expertise
- Oracle experience
