Software Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a fully remote Full Stack Developer within the US! Working within a scrum team and Agile/DevSecOps environment, you will build and maintain web applications using Java, Python, Angular, React, Node.js, and AWS services. This role requires strong AWS expertise, proficiency in various databases, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools. You will collaborate with architects and product teams, ensuring security and scalability of RESTful APIs. A Bachelor's degree and significant experience in application development and AWS serverless technologies are required.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in AWS (Serverless, Containers, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch)
• Proficiency in relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven)
• Knowledge of RESTful API design, JSON, and API security
• Hands-on experience with testing tools (Selenium, JMeter) and monitoring tools (New Relic, Splunk)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• 5+ years in application development
• 2+ years with AWS serverless technologies and containers
• 2+ years working in a DevOps and Agile environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications across all layers: UI, server, cloud, and database
• Utilize AWS serverless technologies and containers for development
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to create innovative solutions
• Follow Agile practices, including sprint planning and code reviews
• Build and support RESTful APIs, ensuring security and scalability
• Document and troubleshoot technical issues in development and production environments
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation
