Software Engineer

Summary

Join Aurora Labs, a development company behind the Aurora EVM blockchain, as a Software Engineer (Python). You will contribute to the development and optimization of the software stack powering NEAR Intents, a key player in the web3 and DeFi space. This role involves building indexers and oracles, developing integrations for OSS market-making software, working with data pipelines, and building a control plane and observability layer. The ideal candidate possesses deep Python expertise, Web3 familiarity, strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge, and excellent documentation skills. Requirements

• Deep expertise in Python development
• Deep familiarity with Web3 libraries and smart contract interaction
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Build indexers and oracles for fetching blockchain data efficiently
• Develop and tune integrations for OSS market-making software
• Work with data pipelines (e.g., Clickhouse, NEAR Lake) for real-time analytics
• Build control plane and observability layer for autonomous trading agents

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GCP and DevOpsExperience and passion in data analytics
• Experience with Rust, Go or Typescript
