Requirements

  • Have 1 to 2 years of experience in software development in a SaaS or fintech startup environment
  • Have working knowledge of at least one interpreted language (such as Python or JavaScript) and at least one compiled typed language (such as Golang)
  • Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and build cross-functional relationships to work effectively across the organization
  • Seek to constantly improve their skills and toolset, including seeking out and acting on feedback. This is not limited to the technical aspect of the role, as we expect engineers to contribute to product discussions
  • Have a passion for supporting small business owners and transforming how businesses are bought and sold

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with our design and engineering teams to plan and build frontend components to power a delightful user experience
  • Partner closely with our design and engineering teams to plan and build API services that power Baton’s suite of client and internal tools
  • Partner closely with our design and engineering teams to plan and build Data pipelines that power Baton’s growing analytics and AI suite
  • Discuss features with the engineering team to ensure we are building impactful products for our users
  • Report to the Head of Engineering
