Join TuneCore's Engineering team as a Mid-level Software Engineer to build and enhance the world's best digital operations platform for the music industry. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to implement new features, write clean and efficient code, contribute to testing efforts, and provide constructive feedback. This role requires 3+ years of experience in production code, a strong understanding of React, and experience with web-based frameworks like Ruby, Node, or Python. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. The position offers a hybrid work model with the option to work remotely or from the Brooklyn, NY office. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience writing production code
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
- Experience writing code within the context of a web-based framework such as Ruby, Node, or Python along with an ORM
- A strong understanding of React
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent industry experience
Responsibilities
- Work with designers, product managers, and other engineers to implement new features on our platform
- Contribute clean, clear, high-quality production code
- Contribute unit and integration tests for new and existing features
- Provide effective and constructive feedback on other engineer’s contributions
