Key performance indicators (KPIs) include site performance metrics, SEO performance, user engagement, and accessibility compliance. Requirements

• 5+ years experience building clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, or equivalent experience demonstrating your expertise in front-end development
• Demonstrates attention to detail, maintaining structured and organized code and component libraries, with shared responsibility for maintaining concise and understandable code
• Deep knowledge of React, Typescript, Next.js and their capabilities, particularly in creating highly cacheable pages and optimizing performance
• A strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques, coupled with the ability to implement performance optimizations that deliver measurable results
• Commitment to creating accessible web experiences and ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong proficiency with common web technologies and integrations: CMS (Contentful, Builder), Google Tag Manager, Design Language System (Storybook), automated UI testing (Selenium, Playwright)

Responsibilities

• Be a pivotal member of the development team for a highly performant, SEO-optimized, and user-friendly website, ensuring that our caregivers have access to a seamless and informative digital platform
• Create highly cacheable pages that deliver lightning-fast load times and exceptional user experiences using React, Typescript, and Next.js
• Implement SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase Carewell's online visibility
• Ensure the new site experience adheres to web accessibility standards, making it inclusive and usable for all caregivers
• Design and implement clean, testable, reusable components
• Work closely with fellow engineers, designers, and product managers to bring the new site vision to life, while also providing guidance

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience in e-commerce storefront development, showcasing your ability to build and optimize online shopping experiences is a plus
